Welcome to the Discrimination and Harassment directory page. Here you will find options for support and reporting if you're dealing with discrimination or harassment of any kind including identity-based harassment and online harassment. 


1. Report Discrimination or Harassment

File a report against a student, staff or faculty member with options for report navigation, online/telephone reporting, anonymous reporting and confidential reporting.

 


  • Report any instance of harassment or discrimination involving students, staff or faculty through HDAPP. 
     

  • Visit the confidential resources page on the HDAPP website to discuss cases of harassment or discrimination privately before making an official report.
     

  • This guide provides steps for reporting concerning faculty conduct regarding freedom of expression, academic freedoms and safety. 
     

  • Fill out this form to file a report of student misconduct.
     

  • Get support navigating misconduct or concerns about other students, staff or faculty and receive guidance on how to proceed with the reporting process.

2. Identity-Based Discrimination/Harassment Support

Sexual Orientation and Gender-Based Harassment/Discrimination


  • CARE provides confidential support, including advocacy and guidance on reporting sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, intimate partner violence, stalking, and gender identity and sexual orientation-based harassment. 
     

  • Offers advocacy, support and resources for LGBTQIA+ students. 
     

  • Provides programs, support and resources for issues related to gender equity.

    Provides information and advocacy for trans and non-binary students, including a Trans Advocate at the LGBTQIA Resource Center.

 

Disability-Based Harassment/Discrimination


  • Offers support and advocacy for students facing discrimination or harassment based on ability.

 

Race/Ethnicity-Based Harassment/Discrimination


  • Report any instance of harassment or discrimination through HDAPP.
     

  • Report hate crimes directly to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Police by calling 530-752-1727.
     

  • If you believe you have experienced or witnessed an act of hate, bias, discrimination or harassment, please report it so the university can take appropriate action.

3. Police Accountability


  • The Â鶹´«Ã½ Police Department believes in accountability for all police officers. File a report with the  if you believe you have experienced police misconduct, such as excessive force, discrimination, harassment or improper procedures. 

4. Doxing and Online Harassment


  • Learn what steps to take if you become a target of doxing, cyberbullying, social media trolling or other online harassment.
