OLIVE OIL CELEBRATION

Grounds division workers carefully tend the olive trees that produce the fruit that goes into Â鶹´«Ã½ olive oil. Pictured are, from left, Jose Aguayo, Gary Perez and Serafin Velasco. The university launched its olive oil last year, and the product sold out. Soon you will have a chance to purchase this year's release, and a new product, vinegar. A tasty celebration is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. March 14 at the Silo Café & Pub. People planning to attend are asked to RSVP at ucdoliveoil@ucdavis.edu.
