Chef Martin Yan and Wife Donate Archive to �鶹��ý

World-renowned celebrity chef Martin Yan’s collection of nearly 3,000 cookbooks, his first wok, thousands of photographs and other media will be the main ingredients in an archive to be established in his name at the University of California, Davis.

Yan and his wife, Susan, both �鶹��ý graduates, recently gifted the items and funds to create the Chef Martin Yan Legacy Archive in the �鶹��ý Library Archives and Special Collections.

‘World’s Greatest Wine Library’ at �鶹��ý Continues to Grow

When Hugh Johnson, author of the ground-breaking World Atlas of Wine, decided to donate his archive of nearly 60 years of wine-book writing to the �鶹��ý Library in 2016, he explained that he had chosen �鶹��ý because, “It’s simply the greatest wine library in the world.”
