University of California, Davis, Chancellor Gary S. May announced today that David Lubarsky, �鶹��ý Health’s vice chancellor of human health sciences and chief executive officer, will retire from the university effective Feb. 15, 2025. After his retirement, Lubarsky will become president and CEO of Westchester Medical Center Health Network, a nine-hospital health system near where he grew up, in Valhalla, New York.

Chancellor Gary S. May of the University of California, Davis, and David Lubarsky of �鶹��ý Health have been named among the Sacramento area’s Most Admired CEOs by the Sacramento Business Journal.

The business publication will honor the CEOs at a virtual VIP reception and awards event next Tuesday, April 6.
