The School of Education announced the cancellation of the SEEK summer program for children, due to low enrollment.

The first session of SEEK: The �鶹��ý Experience had been scheduled for this week, July 12-16. Two more weeklong sessions had been planned, July 19-23 and 26-30.

The School of Education had partnered with Campus Recreation in organizing SEEK, for children entering grades 3 to 6. They had their choice of three “laboratories”:

• Let’s Move It People! — About the science and technology of sustainable transportation.

• The Good, the Bad and the Buggly — To teach children to “stop before you stomp,” because our biodiversity and survival depends on the contributions of these creepy crawly co-habitants.

• ACRES of Learning — With ACRES standing for Arts, Culture, Research, Environment and Society.
